District Launches Safety App

District Partnering With Navigate 360, P3 Intel on Safety Initiative
Posted on 10/04/2023

Bibb County School District recently partnered with Navigate 360 and P3 Intel to provide a more seamless and efficient way for students and community members to provide critical information to help solve and prevent crimes or other serious or life-threatening matters. Navigate 360 leads the industry with its latest secure and anonymous tip acquisition and management solution, P3 Intel. This partnership allows Bibb Schools to foster a relationship between the District, law enforcement, and the public, to proactively create a safer community.

Bibb County Schools will now be accepting tips by phone, the web, and by way of the new, free “Safe4Bibb” mobile app available on iOS and Android platforms, greatly enhancing the mobile tip submission process. Completely anonymous, tips submitted through the “Safe4Bibb” mobile app, unlike SMS text tips, have no length limitations and allow images, video, and documents to be uploaded with the tip. P3 Intel’s sophisticated encryption processes obscure any and all identifying information and provide assured anonymity for tipsters.

“Safe4Bibb is going to be instrumental in keeping our schools and community safe. The app will be another
resource available to students, their parents, and all stakeholders to report the things they see and hear that we
never would know about otherwise,” said Matthew Giegler, Safety and Security Manager for Bibb County School

Even without the app, there is still an easy and secure option for submitting tips from any PC or mobile browser by going to p3tips.com. Tips are still welcomed by calling Campus Police at (478) 779-2040 or the District’s Safety and Security Office at (478) 779-2036, or by submitting a report via Let’s Talk at www.bcsdk12.net. Once a person submits a tip through the “Safe4Bibb” mobile app, they will be given a TIP ID and password. With this information they can login at p3tips.com and submit follow-up information, engage in real-time chat/two-way dialogue, be informed of the outcome of the tip, and access any pertinent reward information if applicable.

Bibb County School District’s use of Navigate 360 and P3 Intel’s anonymous tips program will enhance communications with the public, thereby building a safer and more trusting community in which everyone prospers. To further show our value of tipsters’ contributions to the community, tips leading to an arrest may also result in a cash reward.
