Internet Support for Families

Families who have been participating in the Affordable Connectivity Program through the Federal Communication Commission should contact their internet service provider to see what options are available in the future for the most economical internet service. Check out this link to see examples of question you can ask your internet service providers to help make the best service choice.

The following programs are currently available to asssist families with phone and internet service:

Connect2Compete Internet and Wifi Discount Program


Home internet is an essential tool for today’s education. Through Connect2Compete, families with K-12 students have access to reliable home internet with wifi.


Applicants will need to provide documentation for eligibility such as enrollment in government financial assistance programs (SNAP, TANF, etc.) to apply for Connect2Compete.

Lifeline
Lifeline is a federal program dedicated to making phone and internet service more affordable for low-income households. This benefit provides eligible consumers with a monthly discount of up to $9.25. Consumers living on Tribal lands are eligible for an enhanced discount of up to $34.25 per month.
