Burdell-Hunt: Title l Reward School with Mission & Vision

  • Reward School
    On November 2014, we received High Progress Reward School status for the 2nd year in a row! A "High Progress School" is a Title l school among the 10% of all Title l schools in the state that is making the most progress in improving the performance of the "all students" group over three years on the statewide assessment.

WELCOME

  • Welcome to Burdell-Hunt Magnet Elementary School, where we are committed to excellence in education for every student so he/she has strength of character and is college or career ready. Our curriculum is strong and focuses on the core subjects with explorations in the communicative arts including multimedia, writing, Spanish and Chinese. We are in year two of The Leader in Me process; we “Empower our Students to Lead” by teaching life and leadership skills and creating a culture where every student can be a leader!

    8:00 AM - Report to homeroom
    8:00 AM - 8:20 am - Breakfast in Classroom 
    8:20 AM - Tardy bell rings 
     
    2:20 PM - Early check-out ends
    3:20 PM - Dismissal begins 
    3:45 PM - Carpool ends
     
    ALL CARPOOL AND WALK-UPS MUST HAVE A CARPOOL NUMBER DISPLAYED.
