The online application process for the Bibb County School District’s magnet schools and programs for the 2024-2025 school year is now open. Applications will remain open through December 5, 2023, for Alexander II Math & Science Magnet School; Burdell-Hunt Communications Magnet School; Dr. John H. Heard Elementary School, Academic Magnet; Vineville Academy of the Arts; Miller Fine Arts Magnet Middle School; and Central Fine Arts & International Baccalaureate Magnet High School.
Each school will host an Open House for interested families:
- Alexander II (1156 College Street): Tuesday, November 14, from 5 to 6 p.m.
- Burdell-Hunt (972 Fort Hill Street): Thursday, November 30, from 4 to 6 p.m.
- Dr. John H. Heard (6515 Houston Road): Wednesday, November 15, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
- Vineville Academy (2260 Vineville Avenue): Tuesday, November 28, at 5 p.m.
- Miller Middle (751 Hendley Street): Monday, November 27, at 6 p.m.
- Central High (2155 Napier Avenue): Monday, November 13, at 6 p.m.
