Bibb Foothills Charter High School is pleased to announce the New Student Enrollment for January 2020. The campus will serve students in Bibb County, entering ninth through 12th grade.
Foothills Education Charter High School is a public charter school which offers students an opportunity to earn a diploma, in a non-traditional setting, at a Georgia Department of Education approved school. Modeled after the highly successful Mountain Education Charter High School, Foothills opened in August of 2015, serving students in Baldwin, Barrow, Clarke, Jackson and Madison Counties and two state prisons (Arrendale and Burruss). The charter high school now serve students in a total of 16 locations in the North-Middle Georgia region, having awarded over 900 high school diplomas, and since its Fall 2017 replication partnership for Coastal Plains Education Charter High School, they now have 11 campuses in South-East Georgia.
Students seeking a contemporary learning environment are encouraged to enroll in the free institution. From 4 p.m. - 9 p.m., SOAR Academy will house the students Monday-Thursday, year-round. Bibb Foothills will adopt the Mastery Learning model, currently utilized at all Foothills and Coastal Plains locations.
Families who are ready to explore a Foothills education are invited to read through the Student Enrollment process. Upon Bibb Foothills Charter High School open enrollment, parents and/or guardians can complete the online registration form or bring a completed downloadable registration form to the site. Additionally, employment opportunities will be available on Monday, October 7. For more information, please visit FoothillsCharter.org.
