Greetings! I am honored to serve as the assistant principal and instructional leader for Williams Elementary School for the 2017-2018 school year. I anticipate a wonderful year of innovation, rigor and growth with our students here as we implement 21st Century Standards-based Classrooms and Positive Behavior Intervention Supports (PBIS). As a product of the Bibb County School System, I look forward to serving the students, parents, staff and community members of my beloved hometown.
Greatness awakes us. I will work collaboratively with our parents, school council members and community business partners to build a strong support system.
I began my teaching career in 1995 after graduating from Valdosta State University with a degree in Special Education. Since that time, I have obtained a Master’s Degree in Foundations in Education from Troy University, a Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Cambridge College. Presently, I am an Educational Leadership doctoral candidate at Valdosta State University.
You have my commitment as a life-long learner to continuously engage in professional learning opportunities to improve my practice as an instructional leader. You have my commitment to implement best practices to improve student growth. Finally, you have my commitment to model admirable citizenship and integrity.
