Walsetta Miller
Welcome to the 2017-18 school year! I hope your summer has been wonderful, and you are refreshed and ready for an exciting year of learning. I am honored and thrilled to serve as principal of Alexander II Magnet School. I look forward to working with our positive and supportive community of parents, families, teachers, and staff to make this an awesome year for our students.

I have over 25 years of experience as an educator-all in Bibb County. My educational experiences include serving as assistant principal at Alexander II and Morgan Elementary, serving as an instructional coach at Porter Elementary, and teaching first, second, and third grade at Rice and Lane Elementary.

I earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Education from Georgia College in Milledgeville, my Specialist in Elementary Education from Troy State University, and my degree in Educational Leadership from Mercer University.

In addition to my passion for providing educationally enriching opportunities, I enjoy reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

I am committed to providing our students with a quality education. I know the Alexander II staff works hard to provide a positive academic experience for ALL students, and we enthusiastically look forward to enriching your child’s life.
