Office of School Leadership & Supports
The Office of School Leadership & Supports oversees the principals at the elementary and secondary levels. Led by the Associate Superintendent of Schools, this department comprises the District's Executive Officers and seeks to improve the outcomes for every student in our schools.

Dr. Tamara Candis
Associate Superintendent of Schools
Dr. Candis has held pivotal roles including Zone Superintendent, Principal, Assistant Principal, and Teacher in esteemed districts. Prior to joining the Bibb County School District in 2024, she served as Zone Superintendent in the Fulton County School District, leading several schools on all levels. Dr. Candis continues to work to drive educational success across the District.
