This year's DIGital INtegration EdTech Teacher Academy will focus on how learners engage using technology to express their voice, experience choice, and have the opportunity to create in the learning process.
Teacher participants shall create standards-aligned, technology-integrated activities/tasks and submit them to the DIG IN Canvas course by the end of the DIG IN session. It is preferred that the tasks created align to content taught during the first nine weeks of school.
Teacher participants are encouraged to bring standards-based lessons in digital format so that they can easily design activities/tasks to integrate based on their learning.
*Note: Media Specialists and Academic Coaches shall create technology-integrated items that are applicable to their roles. PEC teacher participants shall follow the same criteria as classroom teacher participants.
Who is eligible to attend a DIG IN 2023 Teacher Academy?
The audience for DIG IN is full-time BCSD classroom teachers, PEC teachers, Media Specialists* and Academic Coaches*.
Dates, Time, and Location
One session spanning three days - July 11, 12 and 13
REGISTRATION IS CLOSED.
Training sessions will be held daily from 8:00am until 4:00pm at SOAR Academy and the Professional Learning Center located at 2011 Riverside Drive, Macon, GA 31204.
Participants need to check their email weekly.
