Push for Success Summer Learning

Push for Success Summer Learning provides students with targeted support and enrichment in reading and math, pathways to accelerate academic progress, opportunities for credit recovery and career exploration. Summer Learning options/opportunities are available for all students in Grades K-12 with the goal of developing a culture of year-round learning.

These options are offered at no cost to families, with breakfast and lunch offered for in-person programming. Additionally, transportation will be provided for those programs from designated neighborhood bus stops.

Summer Meal Program

From June 1-25, the Bibb County School District's School Nutrition Department is offering meals to children age 18 and younger at seven sites across the District. Breakfast will be served at the following sites from 8-8:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday:

  • Weaver Middle School, 2570 Heath Road
  • Southwest High School, 1775 Williamson Road

Breakfast will be served at the following sites from 9-9:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday:

  • Heritage Elementary School, 6050 Thomaston Road
  • John R. Lewis Elementary School, 3522 Greenbriar Road
  • Northwoods Academy, 709 Pierce Avenue
  • Springdale Elementary School, 4965 Northside Drive
  • Veterans Elementary School, 4901 Faubus Avenue
