Dual Enrollment

Hutchings College and Career Academy Dual Enrollment program is an excellent opportunity for rising 10th, 11th and 12th grade Bibb County District students. In conjunction with Central Georgia Technical College, students have the opportunity to enroll in approve academic or Career, Technical and Agricultural Education (CTAE) courses that align to the Georgia Department of Education career clusters and pathways. 

Students benefit tremendously by enhancing engagement, improving graduation rates, increasing learning and receiving high school and collage credit simultaneously at little to no cost. Additionally, students gain lifelong career skills in a facility that resembles the workplace.

Program Requirements:

Must be a 10th, 11th, or 12th grader enrolled in the Bibb County School District or VIP Academy Must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 for Academic or CTAE courses Must have a minimum SAT score of 1200 or a minimum ACT composite score of 26 for Academic courses

In addition to high school and college credits, students may obtain technical certification in the following areas:
