OUR PURPOSE
The Office of Partnerships, Projects & Engagement ensures that every partnership is strategic, student-centered, and aligned with the Bibb County School District’s three strategic goals student achievement, staff effectiveness and stakeholder engagement. We offer tools and guidance to initiate, manage, and evaluate partnerships that positively impact students, staff and schools.
The Bibb County School District builds collective and active engagement amongst all community partners to maximize students' overall learning experiences. Partnerships allow business professionals and community members to engage in education within the Bibb County School District firsthand. The symbiotic nature of these relationships plays a crucial role in the success of our schools and the vitality of these partnerships.

Are you interested in becoming an Education Partner? Whether you're a business, a civic or social group, a college/university team, or a government agency, you have the opportunity to become an Education Partner within Bibb County School District. Partnerships encompass working with a single class, a school, multiple schools, an entire zone or district wide.
The range of potential partnerships is as extensive as the student population in Bibb! Each school has distinct needs based on its students and available resources. Similarly, each business partner provides unique support when collaborating with a school. That's why Bibb doesn't adopt a one-size-fits-all approach to partnerships.
Examples of potential collaborative endeavors could involve:
- Providing academic support to students through tutoring
- Offering students internships or part-time roles that align with their classroom learning
- Conducting mentoring and career seminars for students
- Offering professional development for teachers
- Assisting school leadership in advancing school programs in literacy and attendance
- Making monetary donations and commitments for staff and students
- Donating goods and services to support academic achievement incentives and more
