Attendance Zone Study
As a result of the 2024-25 school consolidation study, it was recommended that Bibb County Schools look at a rezoning study and also an operational efficiency study as an alternative to closing or consolidating schools.
A company called HPM Leadership was contracted to perform a demographic study and to work with BCSD staff to develop preliminary attendance zone options. These options were presented and discussed at the April 16 board meeting, and two town hall meetings will take place:
- Monday April 20th, 5 pm at the Professional Learning Center, 2003 Riverside Drive, Macon, GA 31204
