  • Video-Parent Engagement

Alexander II enjoyed Freaky Friday on November 20th.  Parents volunteered to take the place of teachers, lunchroom workers, custodians, and our librarian for 30 minutes-1 hour time periods through out the day. Click on the FREAKY FRIDAY to see our Alexander II Magnet School parents at work!  This event celebrated Georgia Parent Engagement Month in November.

  • Mrs. McMahan's Donors Choose fund for multi-media technology in the REACH classroom is FULLY FUNDED-CONGRATULATIONS!!

Thank you so much for your generous donations to my Donors Choose project, that now that it has been completely funded, will provide some much needed additional technology for my gifted students!

Because of your generosity, my students will have greater access to technology which will enable them to more easily develop and practice creative and critical thinking skills, participate in in-depth research, and design multi-media presentations developing strong skills of communication.

Thank you so much for your interest, support, and generosity in education, and specifically in my gifted students.

    With gratitude,
    Mrs. McMahan
