We received a four star rating on our recent CCRPI School Climate Rating. Alex II also earned a CCRPI score of 94.8, up from 89.5 in 2015. Victory is in Progress (VIP) at Alex II.

in the Water Rockets event and tied for 1st place in the Game 24 event.

Alexander II Magnet School will serve as a host site for The VIP Club’s Summer,
STREAM Intervention Program. The program will run from June 4th to 28th from 7:30
a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
Congratulations to all of the students who participated in the Bibb Spelling Bee hosted by Bibb Association of Educators! Elijah Wood of Howard Middle School, first place, and Babar Dar of Heritage Elementary School, second place, advance to the region spelling bee in Fort Valley! Julia Byron of Alexander II Magnet School took third place and will serve as alternate.
Congratulations to Mrs. Brown, Mrs. Sjoquist, Mrs. Dean and the Robosteins for participating in the Robotics competition in McDonough. The team won the DESIGN TROPHY-way to go Robosteins!!
