4th grade student Joycelyn Faulks was the top Carter student for the MGRL summer reading program. She read more minutes than any other participating Carter student. Joycelyn, along with other Bibb Co. students, was recognized at a BOE meeting. She is pictured with her mother and Bibb County Superintendent Dr. Curtis Jones.
We are Leaders… Today and everyday iLEAD. I am loyal to my classmates, teachers, and school. I am ethical. I come to school prepared, on time, and ready to learn. I choose to have a positive attitude. I am optimistic. I carry myself with dignity, and respect others. I am a Leader!
The Elementary and Secondary Education Act (1965) requires that parents who have children attending a Title I school be notified of how well their school is preparing its students for college or a career, as well as the school’s designation status under Georgia’s ESEA Flexibility Wavier. We are proud to tell you that Carter Elementary School has not been given a school designation this year, which means we are a Title I school that is continuing to provide a quality education to all of our students.
